The Italian Suit

While British gentlemen dress to follow traditions and rules and sometime to show that they belong in a certain class of society, the Italian gentlemen on the other hand is irrevocably the opposite.

Their main purpose of dressing up well is outright vanity. The suit is to set off one's individual nature by the means of certain elegance.

It's elegance shows in its lightweight, soft fabric that suits a warmer weather condition of their nation.

The Italian suit is also a requisite of the Italian tradition of passeggiata, the leisurely stroll of at which a man shows off his best clothing to rivals of his own.
